Q: Why Wine Growlers?
A: As the second-oldest winemaking family in the Napa Valley, we are bringing back our roots! In Italy it’s a standard tradition, and years ago here in Napa, our family sold jug wine for locals to enjoy for the week. Statistically, about 95% of all wine is consumed within a week of purchase, especially now, during these difficult and uncertain times, so we thought we would offer something fun and different to our neighbors! And hey, if it’s a success, we just may keep it up!
Q: How much wine fits in our Growler?
A: 64 ounces, roughly a little bit over 2 ½ bottles of wine.
Q: How long will the wine last?
A: Just like a freshly opened bottle of wine, it will last several days, but probably less than a week. They are similar to beer growlers in that respect. But I guarantee you once you start drinking, you won’t want to stop!
Q: How much?
A: $60.00 for your first purchase (plus tax). That includes the Growler + wine! $45.00 for every refill of any varietal for the rest of the month of May! It’s significantly cheaper than a bottle of the same wine. Plus you get more wine, for less money – I definitely call that a win!
Q: How do I get one?
A: Good question! Text GROWLER to 707-255-8864 and we will contact you to do the rest! Pickups will take place every Friday and Tuesday in May between 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, but orders need to be processed in advance. We will be outside ready to do a handoff directly into your trunk, so there’s no need to even get out of the car! Q: What wines are available?
A: We are offering 1 red and 1 white to choose from every Tuesday and Friday. Varietals will rotate based on dates, so there are always new options for you to try. Check out the complete calendar of wine options below! All other 750 ml bottles of wine are available to purchase for pick up at the same time as your Growler for a 20% Discount.
Q: How do I clean them?
A: The most important thing to do is to rinse them with hot water soon as you finish that last drop. Problems occur when small amounts of wine sit exposed to oxygen for long periods of time. Other than that, wash them like you would your wine glasses, and they should be fine. When you bring them back for refills, we will make sure they are clean!
